WEB CAM RECENTLY ADDED.
I have not decided where the image is going to end up calling home. This is one place you can find it at this time. You will notice it has not updated lately, I was very disappointed with the "Quick Cam" by Logitec and returned it. I have ordered a Snappy and will use a VHS video camera and should get better results.

NEWS FROM BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH IN COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO.
===== Bethel Baptist Church - Coeur d'Alene, ID 208/664.9083 "KNOWING GOD AND MAKING HIM KNOWN"
“Excuse me, Miss, how can I get this Jesus?â€
That was the question asked by one
young man who we visited in a remote
village in northeastern India. Our
group of ten Americans spent a week in
Manipur, India in early October. We
had come to help start a new church in
two different villages, and also train
leaders in the Awana program. These
young men listened intently to the
gospel message, but had been so quiet
that I wondered if the message was
getting through! So after almost an
hour of talking and reading the
Scriptures through a translator, one
man raised his hand and asked that
question. It was so exciting to see the
power of God working through His
word, and to see all six young men trust
Christ as Savior. Several of them told
me that they had never even heard of
Jesus before that day! It truly is wonderful to be a part of His work in the “uttermost parts†of the
world!
What in the world can ,500 build? A church in Manipur, India!
A relatively small amount of money goes a long way in northeastern India. Our team was privileged to
attend the dedication of a church which was built from the donation of a couple from the U.S. who
went with GMF on a church-planting campaign to Manipur and saw the tremendous work that is being
done there by Peter & Moala Kashung. This church will house 200 believers. Peter has 23
congregations who are ready to build a church – if you are interested in making an investment
toward this project, contact me at lisa.lalani@gmf.org

Three Awana leaders led the training with Awana coordinator Home Steward - Sabrina Porath, Sharon
Stagner and Tony Stagner, from Bethel Baptist Church in Coeurdalene, Idaho. The training was
attended by 40 Awana leaders, most of whom had been running Awana clubs for less than one year.
Topics discussed included “Biblical Basis for Child Evangelism,†“Leading By Example,â€
“Ministering to Clubbers,†“Basic Steps to Maturity,†and “Preparing your Heart to Teach.â€
In addition to Awana training, we were involved in evangelism in the villages and saw over 250 people
indicate they wanted to trust Christ as their personal savior. The fields truly are white for harvest!
I depart on Nov. 8 for my last trip of the year to Kazan, Russia. Our small team will be ministering at
an orphanage and conducting Awana training in two villages, 12 hours east of Moscow.
Looking Ahead to 2001 . . .
As we make plans for 18 Reach-A-Country projects in 2001,
please pray for the Lord’s guidance and direction in the
coming year. We hope to have the final 2001 Reach-A-Country
calendar available by the end of November.
Thank you so much for your partnership with me in this
ministry! I have so appreciated your prayer and financial
support this year. May the Lord bless you richly as you
faithfully give to His work in the world!
